Brent Amaker and the Rodeo signs to Spark & Shine Records

Seattle cowboy outfit Brent Amaker and the Rodeo join the growing roster of indie label Spark & Shine Records who will release their third full-length album Please Stand By in the US this October (10/19/2010) and the UK next year. 

It was also announced on 6/1/2010 that Brent Amaker and the Rodeo will play the 40th Annual Bumbershoot Music Festival in Seattle Washington on September 6, 2010.

BAR in The Stranger: Sugar gets a tattoo of himself on himself

Trent Moorman of The Stranger summarizes Brent Amaker & the Rodeo's recent national tour.

Touring accesses a lobe of the brain not usually accessed in normal day-to-day life. A tour is a mobile numbing, a shuffle of clubs, people, conversations, contacts, highways, and playing. Actions taken on tour can almost take on a Jungian dreamlike context.
